NBA LINEUP RECAP FROM 10/30/13
Wow! D-Wade sits in the 2nd game of the season and the Heat get upset by the 76ers? Who saw that one coming?! Anyways, yesterday I posted an article of who to build your lineup around for daily NBA fantasy, and let's see the results!
Damian Lillard- Lillard had 32 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. He was the Top Performer for the Trailblazers last night and he finished the evening with 43.8 FP.
Reggie Jackson- Filling in until Westbrook returns, Jackson played in 32 minutes scoring 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Jackson came in at a $5,500 salary and outperformed it by nabbing 27.9 FP in the OKC 3 points win over the Jazz.
Brad Beal- Beal had 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists to get 21.8 FP last night.
James Harden- Harden had 21 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal for a nice night of 29.1 FP
Paul George- Coming in at $8,800 on the night, George definitely did not disappoint. He finished the night with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks. His performance nabbed him 48.7 FP to go along with his 42.7 FP from the night before. I told you to use him both nights and I hope you did!
Chandler Parson- he was more of a salary play than a big points player. Even so, Parsons had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal to finish with 24.5 FP.
Kevin Love- Love was the second highest salary at the PF position, and for good reason. He had 31 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 assists and ended the night with 56.4 FP.
Anthony Davis- FEAR THE BROW! Davis and the Pelicans (stupid name in my opinion) kept the game close until the 4th quarter where they were outscored 36-24. Davis had 20 points, 12 rebounds, 1 steal, and 3 blocks for an impressive 38.4 FP.
DeMarcus Cousins- I hope you took my advice and used Cousins! He outperformed not only his salary but everyone Center in basketball last night. Cousins had 30 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 2 blocks to get a whopping 52.3 FP
Vitor Faverani- Faverani was the value pick of the night if you wanted to lean towards bigger names at other positions. He scored 13 points with 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks in only 27 minutes of player. He had 19.6 FP. He covered his salary because it was only $3,500, but not the kind of effort you need to win in Fantasy Sports.
This team without Vitor at C, scored a HUGE 342.9 FP total score. If you built around the players I chose, then you should have cashed in all head-to-heads and 50/50. Possiblyl in the bigger tournaments but I haven't checked that out yet. I hope my advice helped you bring home the bacon last night and check back today for my picks for tonight's action!
