I will now be bringing you players and info for Victiv.com and DraftKings as well as Fanduel!

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 9:

QB- Peyton Manning- The game this week against the Patriots is supposed to be a shootout and features one of the best QB matchups of the season. Manning is a beast and his price shows that. I’m going to use Manning in a couple of lineups but he won’t be my featured QB this week. I’ll use him with Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, or Julius Thomas in some GPPs.

QB- Colin Kaepernick- It’s hard to ignore his numbers against the Rams a couple of weeks ago. He completed 22 of 35 passes for 343 yards, with 3 TDs, and 29.42 FP. His price is so low for his matchup that he’s going to be under-owned and we can use this to our advantage. I’ll be using Kaep in a ton of lineups this week.

QB- Russell Wilson- Every week I tend to suggest Wilson and it works out sometimes, and sometimes it doesn’t. Every other week he tends to have a huge game followed up by a dud. Well, last week was this dud, and now he gets to face the Oakland Raiders. I’m expecting big things from Wilson somewhere along the lines of 300 passing yards, 4 TDs, and add another 85+ rushing yards and possibly a rushing TD. He will also be in a ton of my lineups.

QB- Tony Romo- This obviously depends on his status moving forward in practice this week, but he draws a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals and the worst pass-defense. If Romo cain’t go, Brandon Weeden makes a great GPP option this week in a tournament field that he won’t have much exposure to.

Other QBs I Like: Tom Brady, Brandon Weeden, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Andy Dalton

RB- LeSean McCoy- He had a down week last week but I honestly believe (probably because he was my #1 draft pick in my year-long leagues) that he will come through this week against the Texans. I think people will be off of him this week and that’s what makes me like him even more for the big tournament fields.

RB- Arian Foster- I recommended him last week with confidence and he went off. I feel the same way about him this week and absolutely love his matchup against the Eagle’s defense. I’m looking for another 100+ yard game with multiple TDs.

RB- Marshawn Lynch- He basically ruined a ton of people’s lineups last week and his price has come down as a result. I think a lot of people will be turned off from him, but going up against the Raiders is just too good to pass up in either cash games or GPPs. I love his value on DraftKings with the PPR scoring.

Other RBs I Like: Giovani Bernard, Lamar Miller, Ronnie Hillman, Lorenzo Taliferro, Jonas Gray

WR- Emmanuel Sanders- After his 3 TD performance, I’m looking for him to dominate once again against a Patriot’s secondary that has been exposed in the past. I think his price is just too low to not take a look at him again this week.

WR- Odell Beckham Jr.- Coming off of a BYE, I love OBJ this week against a Colt’s defense that was just torched against the Steelers. His price isn’t where it should be and since he’ll be taking the place of Victor Cruz, and I believe he is very capable to dominate this week.

Other WRs I Like: Michael Floyd, Malcom Floyd, Antonio Brown, Donte Moncrief

TE- Rob Gronkowski- The beast went OFF on Sunday and he is 100% healthy now and I believe he will be able to dominate the Bronco’s secondary this weekend. I’ll be matching him up with Brady in some lineups and counting the money!

TE- Julius Thomas- He hasn’t produced like people have wanted the past couple of weekends but now is the time to pounce on him when others aren’t paying attention. The Patriot’s defense has been beatable this year and Thomas has a chance to dominate as I expect Demaryius Thomas to be double and triple teamed the whole game.

Other TEs I Like: Travis Kelce, Larry Donnell, Vernon Davis

DEF: KC, CIN, 49ERS, SEAHAWKS

NBA- Fantasy Basketball Advice 10/29 Fanduel/DraftKings

Finally the NBA is back and it’s time for us to make some money! We’ve been absolutely dominating the NFL week in and week out and it’s time to move our talents over to NBA as well. What we do on this blog is bring you suggested plays of the day to help you build that winning lineup on Fanduel and Draftkings.

Each suggested player will have their Fanduel FD salary price, and Draftkings DK price next to their name along with a little bit of why they are a suggested player.

These are considered the FREE advice articles. If you’re wanting to subscribe, head on over to thefantasysportsguru.com and hit the drop-down menu on the right side under the ads and choose the subscription plan that is right for you! With the subscription service, you are sent the email that day with a couple of suggested lineups that we use on that night. Thank you for checking out our service and good luck this NBA season! Once you’ve subscribed, please send me an email with the email you want the article sent to, and that you subscribed for NBA. NFL is still going on and I don’t want there to be in confusion!

Last night we killed it on Opening Night for NBA and I’ll show the lineups!

5X Draftkings.png

Fanduel.png

As you can see, we scored HUGE took down a tourney for 1st place and look to continue that trend tonight!

Suggested Plays for 10/29/14:

Russell Westbrook- He should be relied on heavily tonight as the Thunder have so many injuries to start the season. With only 4 bench players for tonight, Westbrook should easily reach 40 minutes and I could see a triple-double out of him. I’m looking for him to have a 60+ FP performance and be the top fantasy scorer tonight.

Stephen Curry- He’s a little cheaper option than Westbrook and has a great matchup against a poor Sacramento defense. I think he sees 35+ minutes with at least 35 FP tonight and helps our team.

James Harden- He picked apart and destroyed the Lakers last night and should have the same sort of success again tonight. He seems to hate playing defense but luckily we care more about offensive categories for fantasy basketball. He played 31 mins with 32 points and 44.2 FP. I’m looking for something similar or even better from Harden tonight.

Joakim Noah- The big man seems to get it done in big situations, and playing at MSG always brings the best out of people. Noah had a pretty decent pre-season and I’m predicting around 33 mins of action with at least 40 FP tonight out of him.

C.J. Miles- I’m going with Miles as the VALUE PLAY of the DAY. He should be starting SF on a team that seems to have more injured players than healthy ones and for his low salary, I think anything over 25 FP is a huge value and a key to us cashing huge tonight.

NBA Opening Night- Fantasy Advice 10/28/14

Suggested Plays for 10/28/14:

PG- Tony Parker (FD:$7,300, DK:$6,400)- TP is a fantasy goldmine and he should see an increase in minutes/production while Patrick Mills is out. Last season Parker averaged 27.1 FPPG and I absolutely believe that he will outplay that average tonight against the Mavericks in San Antonio.

SG- Monta Ellis (FD:$8,100, DK:$7,800)- He averaged 37.7 FPPG last season and should continue that trend again this year. I think the Mavs vs. Spurs will be a shootout and Ellis should have a tremendous game facing the Spurs in San Antonio. Looking for him to be one of the top scorers overall tonight.

SG- James Harden (FD:$9,900, DK:$10,200)- He’s clearly an elite player on a All-Star caliber team, and his salary price reflects that. He averaged 40.5 FP last season and should be right around his average tonight for the opening night of games.

SG- Evan Fournier (FD:$4,400, DK:$3,000)- Fournier is slated to be the starter for the Magic and if his preseason minutes indicate anything, he should be able to get his mins and a minimum salary means he could help us out tremendously with salary relief. I am predicting him to go around 20 FP tonight.

SF- Tobias Harris (FD:$6,400, DK:$5,800)- He was a mainstay staple in my articles and lineups last season and I’m excited to be able to plug him into lineups this season. His 25.8 FPPG and the 61 games he played last season show me he’s ready for a bigger role and time to shine in the Sunshine State.

C- Nikola Vucevic (FD:$8,100, DK:$7,600)- I really like Vucevic over Howard tonight at the Center position. I think a lot of people will be on Dwight and in a GPP, we can get the less % owned player and have that edge. At 31.9 FPPG last season, I think Vucevic dominates the paint tonight against the Pelicans and is a Top Center contender this year. I’m plugging him into both my Fanduel and Draftkings lineups with confidence.

SF- Trevor Ariza (FD:$6,100, DK:$6,200)- The prices are close to the same on both sites tonight, so there’s not much of a value difference. Ariza is slated to start at Small Forward and had a decent preseason. He seems comfortable with his new team and should start producing right away tonight. He’s a must-start for me tonight.

PF- Tim Duncan (FD:$7,900, DK:$7,600)- He’s a dinosaur in basketball years but he’s still producing amazing numbers. His price might scare some players away, but when he averaged 34 FP last season, it’s hard to ignore and not roster him on a small slate night.

Fantasy Football Friday- DraftKings FREE PREVIEW Lineup

Fantasy Football is HUGE and Daily (Weekly NFL) Fantasy Sports are taking the world by storm. Just this weekend, you can turn $27 into $1,000,000 over at Draftkings.com.

You may be asking how do I play? What's a good lineup? Where can I find some great fantasy advice to help me build my $1,000,000 team? All of these are great questions and I would love to help you get those answers. Here at fantasysportsadvice.sportsblog.com and thefantasysportsguru.com we do all of the research for you so you don't have to! I would like to start Fridays as Fantasy Football Fridays where I bring you ONE free Lineup from either Fanduel.com, Draftkings.com, or Victiv.com.

This week's article will be a free Draftkings lineups and a breakdown of what you can expect with our subscription service. With this service, you are emailed our weekly FREE article PLUS multiple lineups to use from each of the sites I've mentioned above. All of the FREE articles are here on this blog, but to subscribe you must head over to thefantasysportsguru.com and on the right side of the page under the ads is a drop-down menu. The three options on this menu are the Weekly- $5.50 subscription, Monthly- $20.50 subscription, or the Yearly- $50.50 subscription.

So let's this thing started and get you guys a breakdown of a Draftkings lineups to use this weekend!

QB- Drew Brees- I believe Brees will be overlooked as most people will be on the Aaron Rodgers bandwagon this week on Draftkings. Brees has had a "down" year in people's eyes but he still has 4 out of 6 games with 300+ passing yards. In his 6 games, he's thrown less than 40 times in only 1 game, and already has 11 touchdowns with 1,916 passing yards. He's historically played better at home and I think it will show through this week. I see him going over the 350 yards mark and 4 TDs and anchoring our team.

RB- Arian Foster- What else can I say about this guy other than he is a beast. He's looked like one of the better RBs when healthy and he has a dream matchup against a Titan's defense that can't do much on that side of the ball. He's eclipsed 100 yards in every game but one that he's played in and already has 615 yards and 5 TDs. He's currently ranked 11th of all active players in fantasy and I think he easily takes the 100 yard mark down once again. He's also a great pass-catching back and that bodes well on Draftkings as it's a full PPR league. I'm looking for Foster to have a stat line around 25/125/2.

RB- Lamar Miller- Miller has an absolutely dream matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is now the featured back on this up-tempo Dolphins offense and he should be in store for a HUGE game. He's now had 3 consecutive games with a score and could easily go bananas this weekend in Jacksonville. This Miami offense seems to want to run the ball the most and Miller will contribute to over 90% of the carries on Sunday. Easily plug him in our lineup and he should definitely go off.

WR- Sammy Watkins- Since Kyle Orton has taken over at the helm of this team, Watkins has been his go-to target. Watkins is coming off a monster game last week against the Vikings where he had 9 catches out of 14 targets for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns. He gets a nice matchup against a Jet's secondary that has a hard time stopping people and Watkins could be in store for another similar stat line as last week. His price is considerably lower than what it should be and this might be the last week we can take advantage of it.

WR- Terrance Williams- I believe a lot of people will be on Dez Bryant this week because of his matchup, and they will most likely be off of Williams. Williams has been Romo's other go-to target when Dez has been covered. If you're using this lineup in the bigger tournaments, you are looking for the high-upside player like Williams, who has a low owned percentage. I'm looking for Williams to have a big game and take some of the looks that Gavin Escobar has been getting lately.

WR- Louis Murphy Jr.- You're probably asking WHO?! In 3 games this year (in a row) that he has been active, he has been targeted 27 times. In those 27 targets he has 16 receptions for 206 yards and 2 TDs. If Mike Evan's groin is still bothering him, and Vincent Jackson is ineffective, Murphy has been less covered than the others. He could be in for a big game against a shaky Viking's Defense.

TE- Rob Gronkowski- A healthy Gronk is an amazing player. Gronkowski appears to be at 100% and he's got a perfect matchup against a Bear's defense that is in flux. It appears that Gronk can't be stopped (and he won't stopppppppppp: Miley Cyrus, NBD). He's a huge red-zone threat and should be in store for a great game now that Tom Brady is looking like his old self.

FLEX- Davante Adams- There will be a TON of people on the Rodgers/Jordy/Cobb stack against the Saints, but I think this week will be Davante Adam's time to shine. I think he'll have a career game and be under-owned and help us take down a big score. Looking for Adams to go around 7/115/2 and take the offense by storm, sort of what Emmanuel Sanders was able to accomplish last night.

DEF- Miami Dolphins- It's true we used the Brown's defense against this same Jacksonville team last week and got burned, but they were missing some key players to injuries. I think the Dolphins are a much better defensive team and they were able to shut down the Bear's potent offense. There will be a lot of exposure to the Dolphins, but they are the best bet this week.

Thanks for taking the time for our FREE exposure to what we have for our subscription service. If you have any other questions or comments please email me at fantasysportsguru22@gmail.com.

NFL Week 8 Fantasy Help

Wilson looks to build on last week's success.

I will now be bringing you players and info for Victiv.com. The Prices for the players are for FD= Fanduel and Victiv. Enjoy!

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 8:

QB- Russell Wilson (FD: $8,900, Victiv: $9,500)- Wilson was an absolute beast and helped us win a ton of money this past week and I’m going back to the well with him yet again. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 313 yards and 2 TDs with 0 INT. He also added 106 yards rushing and a TD. He led our top-cashing Fanduel Lineup (139.22 FP) with 37.12 FP of his own. He now gets a juicy matchup against a horrible Carolina defense who gave up 255 yards and 3 TDs to Aaron Rodgers last week. Pair Wilson with his running ability, and I could see him be the Top-QB again this week.

QB- Aaron Rodgers (FD: $10,000, Victiv: $11,500)- Rodgers worked wonders last week with 255 yards and 3 TDs against Carolina. He now gets to face a bad Saints team in a dom. I think Rodgers makes a great play because this is supposed to be a high-scoring affair and Rodgers should come out on top of this shootout.

QB- Peyton Manning (FD: $10,200, Victiv: $12,100)- What can’t this man do? He has so many targets to throw to that he’s bound for a minimum of 3 TDs a game. He has helped make people millionaires in the last 2 weeks by throwing to Demaryius Thomas and I see this happening once again. I think this game Thursday Night will be another Broncos blow-out but I’m confident in starting a Thursday night lineup going into the weekend on Fanduel.

Other QBs I Like: Ryan Tannehill, Joe Flacco, Tom Brady, Kyle Orton (GPP), Tony Romo

RB- Denard Robinson (FD: $6,400, Victiv: $4,300)- He got the start last week over Storm Johnson and literally ran away with it. He had 22 carries for 127 yards and a TD. The Jags might be riding this win and Robinson has a chance to get another TD this week against the Dolphins. I think Robinson makes a tremendous value play for Week 8.\

RB- DeMarco Murray (FD: $9,600, Victiv: $9,500)- This seems repetitive, but he’s doing amazing things and should be in store for another 100+ yard game against the Redskins defense. I’m looking for him to go 20/110/2 this week.

Other RBs I Like: Justin Forsett, Anthony Dixon, Tre Mason, Andre Ellington, Jamaal Charles

WR- Jordy Nelson (FD: $8,800, Victiv: $8,100)- I love pairing Nelson with Rodgers every week, but especially this week against a Saint’s defense in a dome. He’s topped 100 yards twice this season, and 1 game with 209 yards. Nelson already has 47 receptions for 712 yards and 6 TDs. I’m looking for a line of 7/120/2 this week against the Saints.

WR- Michael Floyd (FD: $6,500, Victiv: $5,200)- If Carson Palmer starts, Floyd’s value always shoots through the roof. Floyd is facing a bad Eagle’s secondary and he could be in for a tremendous game.

WR- Andrew Hawkins (FD: $6,000, Victiv: $4,100)- He is seeing all of the targets that Josh Gordon would normally see and has taken full advantage of it besides in week 6. I love his matchup against the Raider’s defense and think he will get us 7/100/1 this weekend.

Other WRs I Like: Brandon Marshall, T.Y. Hilton, Doug Baldwin

TE- Gavin Escobar (FD: $5,900, Victiv: $2,800)- Escobar is coming off a great game against the Giants where he hauled in 3 receptions for 65 yards and 2 TDs. I think he could be overlooked this week against the Redskins. I’m looking for back to back weeks with a TD.

TE- Dwyane Allen (FD: $6,000, Victiv: $4,800)- Reports are out that Reggie Wayne could miss a couple games with an injury, and Hakeem Nicks plays like he’s 36, not 26. Allen has outplayed Fleener and I think Andrew Luck links up with him for a couple scores this week.

Other TEs I Like: Travis Kelce, Rob Gronkowski, Jordan Cameron

DEF I Like: Miami Dolphins, Minneosta Vikings

Kickers I like: I usually look for a kicker in a dome where weather isn’t really a factor. There’s a ton of options for really cheap and you can expect anywhere from 5-15 points from the kicking position on a great pick.

  1. RB- Bryce Brown (Bills)- Brown has been inactive all season but with Fred Jackson (out about a month) and CJ Spiller going down for the season, Brown will be the most sought after Waiver Wire Target for the 2014 NFL Season for Week 8. On top of that, when Brown was with the Eagles, he showed explosiveness, but he needs to secure the ball a lot more before the coaches can trust him.

  1. RB- Anthony Dixon (Bills)- Even though Brown will be the #1 target this week, Anthony Dixon believes that he will be the Bill’s starter moving forward. He came in after both Jackson and Spiller went down and was the featured back as Brown was inactive for the game. I believe Dixon will be the starter against the Jets, but I could see Brown taking over before Jackson comes back.

Week 7 Stats: 13 rushes, 51 yards

  1. DEF- Miami Dolphins- The Dolphins marched into Soldier Field (see what I did there?) and made the Bears look like cubs (also, note what I did there as well). Now they get to face Jacksonville in Week 8. I know the Jags defeated the Browns last week, but the Dolphins are talented enough to destroy Jacksonville this week.

Week 7 Stats: 3 sacks, 1 INT, 2 Fum Recoveries

  1. RB- Denard Robinson (Jaguars)- We knew how explosive this guy could be when he was the QB at Michigan, and he proved how good of a RB he could be against the Browns this past Sunday. He could definitely be the surprise of the season moving forward.

Week 7 Stats: 22 rushes, 127 yards, 1 TD

  1. RB- Tre Mason (Rams)- Mason seems to be the go-to back for the Rams moving forward. Stacy recorded 0 FP while playing only 1 snap yesterday and will probably ride the bench. Cunningham only had 2 carries (also had catches and a TD) but Mason should be the starting RB moving forward. I’m looking for Mason to shine for a 3rd straight week against the Chiefs this week.

Week 7 Stats: 18 rushes, 85 yards, 1 TD

  1. WR- Doug Baldwin (Seahawks)- The resurgence of Doug Baldwin comes with Percy Harvin’s exit. Baldwin moved over to the slot receiver position and completely dominated the Rams. Look for him to continue this against the Panther’s defense that hasn’t been able to stop anyone as of late.

Week 7 Stats: 7 receptions, 123 yards, 1 TD

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 7:

QB- Tony Romo- Yes, Tony Freaking Romo is now a great option to start for us this week! He has already thrown for 1510 yards, 11 TDs, and only 5 INTs. He did take a big hit against Seattle and looked to be in considerable pain, but he stayed in the game and helped to take down the mighty Seahawks in Seattle. He’s going up against a Giant’s defense that couldn’t stop the Eagles and this game should be similar outcome for the Cowboys.

QB- Aaron Rodgers- Rodgers showed why he is a former MVP as he constructed the game-winning drive with less than 6 seconds to go. Rogers faked the spike and lead them down the field. Rodgers now has 1419 passing yards with 15 TDs and only 1 INT. I’m looking for him to dominate the Panthers this weekend at home. I’m predicting 300+ yards, 4 TDs, and a Top-5 QB finish from Rodgers on Sunday.

QB- Joe Flacco- He was in beast mode Sunday with 5 TDs in the first 20 mins of play. I wish the NFL wasn’t so soft and teams weren’t afraid to embarass the other team. I wanted to see Flacco try to go for 10 TDs, but after being up a ton, of course they ran the ball. After watching what Cutler was able to do to the Falcons in Atlanta, I can see Flacco destroying them in Baltimore. He’s priced too low not to be considered.

Other QBs I Like: Peyton Manning, David Carr, Kirk Cousins, Brian Hoyer

RB- Lamar Miller- With Moreno going down for the season, Miller will be relied on heavily. He can catch passes and also create open space. He now has 3 TDs in his past two games and Chicago’s run-defense has seen better days. I think Lamar will be overlooked and makes a perfect GPP play this week.

RB- DeMarco Murray- Every week Murray finds his way into my articles. He’s just way too good not to be on here. He’s now has 100 rushing yards in every game this season and he was even able to accomplish this feat in Seattle.

Other RBs I like: Le’Veon Bell, Justin Forsett, Matt Forte, Mark Ingram

WR- T.Y. Hilton- I can’t believe his game last week but this kid is a gamer. He is a beast and caught every single target Luck threw his way last Thursday. With the extra days of rest, I believe Hilton will top 100 yards again. He’s a great cash-game option, but I might fade him in GPPs as I think he’ll be over 40% owned this weekend.

WR- Jordy Nelson- Nelson seems to go big one week and then drop off the next. I think Jordy and Rodgers would make a great high-upside GPP pair this week against the Panthers. I’m predicting Jordy to go around 9/150/2 this Sunday at Lambeau.

Other WRs I Like: Wes Welker, Odell Beckham Jr., Dez Bryant, Emmanuel Sanders, Kelvin Benjamin

TE- Jordan Cameron- The surprise of the week has to go to the Cleveland Browns dismantling of the Steelers 31-10 on Sunday. Cameron has been hurt the majority of the season and his price is just too low not to be considered, especially going up against the Jags. Last week he had only 3 catches, but had 102 yards, 1 TD, and 17.7 FP on Fanduel. I can see a similar (more catches though) stat line from Cameron this week when the Browns head to Jacksonville to face the winless Jaguars.

TE- Jason Witten- Witten saw his first TD this past weekend against the Seahawks and he draws a favorable matchup against a Giants team that was unable to stop anyone on Sunday night in Philly. I’m looking for Witten to hit value and go 5/60/1 this week.

Other TEs I Like: Greg Olsen, Julius Thomas, Martellus Bennett, Travis Kelce

DEF I Like: Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys

Kickers I like: I usually look for a kicker in a dome where weather isn’t really a factor. There’s a ton of options for really cheap and you can expect anywhere from 5-15 points from the kicking position on a great pick.

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 6:

QB- Russell Wilson- This guy is an absolute beast and he’s the main reason my year-long league is 5-0. He’s pure talent both running and throwing the ball. He just carved up the Redskins defense for 201 passing yards, 2 passing TDs, and 122 rushing yards with 1 rushing TD for 34.24 FP. Now he gets to face the Cowboy’s defense at home and he’s my main QB target this week in DFS on Fanduel and Victiv.

QB- Peyton Manning- Yes, he’s the most expensive option this week, but it’s for good reasons. He just threw for a career high 479 yards with 4 TDs and 32.96 FP. He’s breaking records left and right and draws a terrific matchup against the Jets at home this week. I’m looking for Manning to top the 300 yard mark with 3+ TDs again, but also he will be highly owned in a Broncos stack I’m sure.

QB- Jay Cutler- I really like Cutler this week as he gets to face a mediocre defense in the form of the Atlanta Falcons. It’s true that the Falcons are better at home, but that’s due in part to Matty Ice, not the defense. I’m looking for Cutler to go around 250 yards, 3 TDs and the W.

Other QBs I Like: Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Brian Hoyer (GPP Only), Philip Rivers

RB- Branden Oliver- Oliver absolutely killed it last week. After Brown left with a concussion, Oliver took over and could find himself as the starting RB this week. Last week against the Jets, Oliver had 19 rushes for 114 yards with with 1 TD, and 4 receptions for 68 yards and 1 TD for 32.2 FP. I’m looking for a similar performance against the Raiders defense, but beware of Oliver in HUGE GPP Tourneys because I think he will be owned over 75%.

RB- Matt Forte- Last week against the Panthers, Forte finally showed up. He had 17 rushes for 61 yards and 12 receptions for 105 yards and a TD for 26.6 FP. He gets a juicy matchup against the Falcon’s defense that can’t seem to stop anyone and Forte looks primed to repeat last week’s performance.

RB- Andre Williams- In my other article (Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups) I listed Williams as a viable year-long candidate. I also love his matchup against the Eagles this week. After Jennings left the game with an MCL sprain, Williams came in for 20 rushes, 65 yards, and 1 TD. He also tacked on 2 receptions for 18 yards and 15.3 FP. We can fit him in with some other value plays to afford some big named players like Peyton Manning this week.

Other RBs I Like: Andre Ellington, Lamar Miller, LeVeon Bell

WR- Julio Jones- Jones is the 2nd highest salaried WR for a reason. He hasn’t had less than 6 receptions all year and has only 3 games under 100 yards receiving and he has never had less than 82 yards receiving either. He’s coming off a game last week against the Giants where Jones had 11 receptions for 105 yards and 16 FP. He and Matty Ice tend to dominate at home and I believe that will be the case again this week.

WR- Wes Welker- I think everyone will be all over Demaryius Thomas and I think Welker will be under-owned, and that’s what it takes to cash in the bigger tourneys. He had 7 receptions for 58 yards last week because DT and JT both stole his thunder. I’m expecting Welker to have a stat line like 5/80/1 this week at home against the measly Jets.

Other WRs I Like: Golden Tate, Victor Cruz, Keenan Allen

TE- Antonio Gates- I think a lot of people will be on Gates this week but his matchup is just too good not to mention him. He’s still priced softly and last week he had 4 receptions for 60 yards, 2 TDs and 20 FP. I think he has an identical game against the horrible Raider’s defense this Sunday.

TE- Tim Wright- For a punt play at TE if you’re trying to save money, Wright could be the “right” man for the job. (See what I did there?). He had success last week and I believe they will try again with Wright in the passing action.

WR- Keenan Allen- He had a tremendous output in Week 4 followed by a dud last week with only 3 receptions for 25 yards and 4 FP. His price is soft enough and they get to face the Raiders who can’t stop anyone. I think people will still be on the Eddie Royal train and Allen will be under-owned and provide us with the salary relief to afford Wilson and Gates.

WR- Wes Welker- I think everyone will be all over Demaryius Thomas and I think Welker will be under-owned, and that’s what it takes to cash in the bigger tourneys. K- Matt Bryant- I chose Bryant because the Falcons will be at home in a dome and the weather will not be a factor. Also, Ryan tends to do better at home which should in turn give Bryant better opportunities to score.

DEF- Broncos- They will be facing the Jets at home. Denver is dangerous at home and we saw what happened to the Jets last week no matter who they throw out at QB. I’m looking for the Broncos to get anywhere between 15-20 FP and round out an amazing team.

So there it is! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I would love to explain something that doesn't make sense!

NFL Week 7 Injury Report

NFL Week 7 Injury Report

Fantasy Football is popular among millions of people around the world, and they wait each week to play. Along with the big names come big injuries. No matter how good your draft is, you’re bound to take injury blows to even the biggest of stars. Here is the breakdown of injured players headed into Week 7 of the NFL Season.

1. WR- Victor Cruz (Giants)

Cruz was carted off the field with a torn patellar tendon and will require season-ending surgery. This deals a blow to the most recognizable name on the Giants other than Eli Manning. The Giants fortunately have so many WR options, that they could still be alright moving forward this season.

Fantasy Sports Guru's Take: On the outside, this injury looks to be devastating as a whole. If we dig a little deeper, we see that Cruz only had 23 receptions for 337 yards and 1 TD. New York has enough talent to replace Cruz this season fortunately.

Fantasy Impact: Odell Beckham Jr. is slated to slide right into this role and see a ton of production increases. He should have similar value/targets as Cruz would have had and he's a safe bet to roster as a WR1 or WR2.

2. RB- Stevan Ridley (Patriots)

Ridley is officially done for the year with a torn ACL and MCL. He was the superior back in a crowded backfield, yet with this injury, it's still way too early to tell who will be the Patriots go-to RB moving forward.

Fantasy Sports Guru's Take: From Week 1 we have seen the up and down rollercoaster that is the Patriots RBBC. Ridley was looking to be the favorite until this injury. We will just have to wait and see moving forward.

Fantasy Impact: Brandon Bolden's value will rise, along with Vereen and possibly the unproven James White.

3. RB- Darren Sproles (Eagles)

Sproles avoided season-ending knee surgery, but he will miss a couple of weeks with an MCL sprain.

Fantasy Sports Guru's Take: This obviously deals a blow to Chip Kelly's offense as Sproles had found the fountain of youth. This luckily isn't a HUGE blow because they still have McCoy who finally broke out of his funk this past week against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: LeSean McCoy is now the clear-cut guy but the problem is that Philadelphia doesn't have a healthy backup to him. Look for the Eagles to possibly sign an insurance policy RB this week.

4. Knowshon Moreno (Dolphins)

Moreno had missed the last two games with a dislocated elbow to come back this week and rush for only 10 yards on 6 carries. He will now miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL and should be back for camp next year.

Fantasy Sports Guru's Take: Obviously this deals a blow to their offense, but luckily the have another great RB in Lamar Miller and he should do just fine.

Fantasy Impact: Lamar Miller stepped up big in Moreno's absence the last couple of weeks and I expect him to continue to be very productive moving forward. He has a back-up in Daniel Thomas (don't expect much from him) and he's looking to get around 20-25 touches for the foreseeable future.

5. WR- A.J. Green (Bengals)

Green missed the Week 6 game against the Panthers because of his nagging toe injury. He most likely will miss this Sunday's contest against the Colts ( according to Green) but it will truly be a game-time decision as Marvin Lewis loves to say his players are good to go all the way up until game time.

Fantasy Sports Guru's Take: I see no reason to rush back too early only to re-aggravate an injury he has already re-aggravated once. The Bengals have done good without him and this week they ended in a 37-37 tie against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: With Both Breen and Marvin Jones out, Mohamed Sanu should keep dominating as the WR1 for the Bengals and they should do just fine.
