Suggested Plays for 11/22/14:

Carmelo Anthony- Melo is really coming around lately and I think he makes a great play for us tonight. He’s coming off a game against the Timberwolves where he only played 27 minutes while scoring 20 points and 26.3 FP. That’s his lowest output in both categories in 8 games and he should dominate the 76ers tonight. I’m looking for another 50 FP game from him tonight.

DeMarcus Cousins- There’s a reason he’s the most expensive Center on most sites. He’s averaging 41.2 FPPG this season and has back to back games of 43+ FPs. He’s got a great matchup against the Timberwolves and I’m looking for a 50+ FP from the big man tonight.

Channing Frye- He’s a value play tonight and coming off of a game that was a bad game for him so others should be off tonight. All we need from him is 20 FP and he’s capable of that easily tonight against the Heat.

Eric Bledsoe- Bledsoe only played 22 minutes but still came away with 29.5 FP. He should play more minutes tonight against the Pacers. He’s averaging 28.5 FPPG and should exceed that number for our team tonight.

Donald Sloan- He’s averaging over 27 minutes a game and this game should stay competitive against the Suns and I’m looking for at least 30 FP from Sloan tonight.

Fanduel:

PG- Donald Sloan

PG- Jameer Nelson

SG- Eric Bledsoe

SG- Brad Beal

SF- Chandler Parsons

Suggested Plays for 11/21/14:

Brandon Jennings- I really like Jennings tonight against the Hawks. He’s averaging 29.0 minutes per game, and 29.9 FPPG so far this season and sees a soft matchup against the Point Guard in the Atlanta Hawks. I’m looking for Jennings to go 35 minutes, score 19 points, and 33 FP.

Nick Young- Swaggy P’s Price is just too low not to use him in our lineups. He’s hit 24.8 FP and 25 FP in the two games that he’s been back and I’m looking for him to go for around 30 FP tonight against the Dallas Mavericks.

Zach Randolph- This game should be extremely competitive between the Grizzlies and the Celtics tonight in Memphis. The Grizzlies are off to an amazing start and Z-Bo is a contributing factor to their success. He’s coming off of a game against Toronto where he played 38 minutes, scored 18 points, 18 rebounds, 2 steals, and 40.6 FP. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a similar stat line tonight minus that amount of rebounds. I’m looking for Z-Bo to give us 35-40 FP.

Reggie Jackson- Jackson is coming off of his worst game of the season two games ago against Utah. He only scored 10 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, and 21.25 FP. People might be off of him today but I like him tonight against Brooklyn. I think he will blow past his 35.61 FP average and go around 45 FP for our team tonight.

Darrell Arthur- He is our saving grace tonight as a value play at the Power Forward position. He’s only $4,300 and should be off most people’s radars. Hes coming off a game with only play 18 minutes but scoring 22.8 FP. He should see some extra garbage time tonight because they are playing the Pelicans who are awful on the road. Anything over 25 FP from Arthur is a steal.

NHL- Fantasy Hockey Advice 11/20 Fanduel

Disclaimer: Be sure to check out who is starting in net today. Can do so at dailyfaceoff.

Goalies:

Jonathan Quick, Tuukka Rask, Ben Bishop, Pekka Rinne, Carey Price are all elite goal tender and always in play but typically come with a high price tag.

Antti Niemi- Unless something is wrong with Niemi I expect him to start tonight with the young backup having started two straight and done well. Sharks a big home favorite here and I will probably be looking for a couple other Sharks in my lineups.

Other solid GPP plays Petr Mrazek, Jonas Hillaer

Defensemen:

Kevin Shattenkirk Brent Burns P.K Subban, Kris Letang, Shea Weber are all elite defensemen and is always in play but typically come with a high price tag.

Jacob Muzzin- Going to ride the Muzzin train yet again in another great matchup. The Hurricanes average less than 2.5 goals per game and going to take on a very stingy Kings team so I just can’t picture him hurting you in the +/-. The defensemen had 4 shots and a helper on Tuesday I look for similar production from him tonight.

Other solid cash game plays John Carlson, Jason Garrison,Drew Daughty

Other solid GPP plays T.J Brennan

Wingers:

Corey Perry, Henrik Zetterberg, Max Pacioretty, Patric Hornqvist, Chris Kunitz, Patrick Marleau, Jamie Benn, Tyler Sequin, Jakub Voracek are all elite wingers and always in play but typically come with a high price tag.

Ryan Callahan- Even though many across the industry argue will argue this point time and time again and to an extent I do agree Steven Stamkos is almost someone you don’t bother just getting exposure to, you either pay up to get him or stay away in general. Of course I’ll never tell someone not to play Stamkos because on any given night he could go off if your going to get exposure though I feel like should do it in the way of Callahan who has a little better shot than Flippula and plays on the same lines as the captain so could always be in line for an assist or +1 if goal is scored at even strength. Lightninag have been hot as of late and I don’t expect Toronto to get in the way of that.

Tyler Toffli- The Kings at home are usually good as money and this is a juicy matchup one I wouldn’t load up to much though as the Kings are far from the sexiest offensive unit in the league they play stout defense and timely offense. Toffli is part of a trio of players who do posses the offensive power (Toffli, Jeff Carter and Tanner Pearson). If you look at plus minus the 3 of them are a combined +37 while the rest of the forwards are a horribly -20 now to be fair much of that is 3 players (Dwight King, Dustin Brown, Mike Richards) Total points tell a similar story the 3 combine for 43 points which is about half the team’s total output thus far. On Tuesday I mentioned Carter and Grobnki as a good plays this going to roll with Tyler to have a solid day though I don’t hate any Kings tonight.

Flip Forsberg- I usually only do 2 players at a position a night and I shouldn’t need to tell anyone that Flip is in play his price tag is still way to low not claiming he should be priced at $8,000 but right now he is playing like a player at that price range and at $6,500 I feel he is in play on almost every night despite the price creeping upwards. Ottawa allows almost 35 shots per game and the Predators score little under 3 goals per on 30 shots I could see Nashville scoring 3 maybe 4 goals in this game and if so Forsberg will surely be involved in at least one of those. The talented youngster has a point in 8 of his last 9 and I expect tonight to be no different. Flip will likely be highly owned so perhaps only a cash game play no harm in a GPP if you got the salary needed and position open as he certainly has the upside to go off for a 8 fantasy point night. Robin Lehner has been confirmed to be in net assuming nothing happens in their morning skate and my algorithm predicts a 2.7 fantasy point night from the Senators goal tender certainly nothing I’m scared to step out front of and neither should you.

Other solid cash game plays Wayne Simmonds, Marian Gaborik

Other solid GPP plays Tommy Wingels, Jonathan Drouin, Mikkel Boedker

Centers:

Steven Stamkos, Ryan Johnansen, John Tavares, Sideney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Getzlaf, Jonathan Toews are all elite fantasy centers and are always in play but typically come with a high price tag.

David Desharnais- My neuro network predicts Jake Allen to produce a -3 point night. I’m not sure that I can count on the Canadiens enough to predict an explosion even at home because the Blues are a pretty solid defensive team. However Desharnais is fairly cheaply priced at fanduel only $4,900 even though he isn’t overly talented as a scorer with only 2 goals on the year he does have 8 assists and plays on a line with Max Pacioretty so a stack of the 2 isn’t a bad idea especially in GPP’s where I’d expect the center to be fairly low owned and Pacioretty to possibly do the damage. If you believe the Canadiens roll here a Desharnais, Pacioretty, Subban stack isn’t a bad idea but I have other ideas for my defense.

Logan Couture- As of writing this I’m still having an internal debate how much Couture exposure I want to have previous to Tuesday’s disappointing loss in which Couture did have an assist he went 5 games without a point which makes his 17 points on the season even more incredible. The Sharks are huge home favorites and should roll over the Panthers but then again they should have against Buffalo too and they got their butts kicked. I feel like Couture may be moderately owned due to being home making him a decent play in cash and GPP’s

Other solid cash game plays Anze Kopitar

Other solid GPP plays Tomas Plekanec, Tomas Tatar

Suggested Plays for 11/20/14:

Chris Paul- He’s averaging 35.9 minutes per game with 41.8 FPPG. It’s a short-slate and there’s only 2 games tonight. I think tonight's the night we have a stack of studs. CP3 is arguably the best Point Guard in the game today and I think he will reach 45 FP tonight in a competitive game against the Heat.

Blake Griffin- Again, we are going back to the Clippers and Griffin tonight. He’s averaging 35.8 minutes per game and 36.1 FPPG. He’s the #1 ranked Power Forward and this Clippers/Heat game should stay close and I could see Griffin go for 50 FP tonight.

Jimmy Butler- He’s really come out and dominated to start  the year and I think he could be one of the top scorers if he stays healthy all season. He really held the Bulls together the multiple times D-Rose left injured and Butler’s averaging  39.9 mins a game and 37.2 FPPG. Look for him to play 35+ minutes tonight and 40 FP out of him as well!

Jason Thompson- He’s a value play on a night that there aren’t very many options. He’s averaging 25.2 mins per game and 13.5 FP. He’s now had back to back 20+ FP games and he looks to dominate again tonight as Rudy Gay.

DeAndre Jordan- The big man is averaging 35.3 mins each game, and 32.2 FPPG. With a lack of players tonight, Jordan really is the best option  at Center. I’m looking for Jordan to play 35 minutes and 40 FP tonight.

Suggested Plays for NFL Fantasy Week 12:

QBs:

Andrew Luck- It’s hard not to take Luck this week as our #1 QB because he has a dream matchup against the Jaguars. With both Bradshaw and Allen hurt, I’m looking for Luck to pass to Hilton a lot and I’m predicting him to be the Top QB for NFL Week 12.

Mark Sanchez- People will look at him as someone who got demolished by the Packers for 4 turnovers. If you dig deeper, you’ll see that he threw for 346 yards and 2 TDs. He’s facing Tennessee who uncharacteristically was able to get to Roethlisberger a handful of times. I can see Philly demolishing the Titans and Sanchez should lead the way this week. I’m looking for another 200+ yards and 3 TDs from the Sanchize.

Jay Cutler- He was very surprising last week as he threw for 330 yards and 3 TDs. He sees a very favorable matchup against the Bucs this week. I’m looking for Cutler to be a Top-5 QB for NFL Fantasy Week 12.

Other QBs I Like: Zach Mettenberger, Josh McCown, Aaron Rodgers, Brian Hoyer, Joe Flacco

RBs:

Denard Robinson- The college QB converted to RB has been explosive since week 7. Coming fresh off of a BYE, I’m looking for him to reach 100 yards rushing against the Colt’s defense that just allowed Jonas Gray to dominate them.

Matt Forte- He’s expensive, but he will be worth every penny this week against Tampa Bay. I’m looking for him to rush for 75+ yards and tack on 10 catches. He could be the #1 RB for Week 12.

Alfred Blue- I think a ton of people will be on Jonas Gray this week and I want to turn your attention to Blue again. He dominated the Browns for 156 yards last weekend only to be outshine by Gray. Obviously this pick hinges on the health of Arian Foster but Blue could make a great FLEX play over at DraftKings.

Other RBs I Like: LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles (Thursday Night), Eddie Lacy, C.J. Anderson

WRs:

Josh Gordon- He’s baaaaaack! His price on Fanday.com is at $3,500 and allows us a ton of felixibility at other positions. I’m looking for Gordon to absolutely dominated at WR in his first game back this week against an Atlanta team that has given up some monster plays. I could see Gordon eclipse the 100 yard mark on Sunday.

T.Y. Hilton- Hilton had a quiet game Monday night as he had only 3 receptions for 24 yards. I’m looking for that to change Sunday against Jacksonville. Look for Hilton to eclipse 100 yards receiving and I wouldn’t put it past him to have multiple scores.

Kenny Stills- I believe Stills will be the player that benefits the most out of Brandin Cooks’ injury. This game will be played in primetime on Monday Night Football and the Saints have been embarrassed too many times in the past few games. Look for Stills/Brees to shine Monday Night.

Other WRs I Like: Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, Jordan Matthews, Mike Evans, Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston

TEs:

Larry Donnell- He now has 6 TDs on the season and he had a decent game Sunday against San Francisco with 3 receptions, 54 yards, and a TD. He gets a matchup against Dallas who have had trouble against the TE position all year and Donnell could be a sneaky play.

Coby Fleener- I think a ton of people will be on Fleener after week 11’s 7 receptions, 144 yard day. Couple that with a matchup against the Jags and Dwayne Allen being doubtful for this weekend. I think Fleener will have a decent game and offer our team some much needed salary relief. I’m looking for a stat line of 5/75/2 from the big guy this week.

Other TEs I Like: Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Anthonio Gates

K:

Cody Parkey, Justin Tucker, Mike Nugent, Brandon McManus

DEF:

Eagles, Packers, Cowboys

Suggested Plays for 11/18/14:

Rajon Rondo- He’s had 3 straight games with 37+ FP and looks to be 100% healthy again. This man loves getting assists (extra fantasy points) and in his past games Rondo has played 100 minutes, scored 40 points, 27 rebounds, 37 assists, and 132.25 FP. He’s beasting it up and has a very juicy matchup against the 76ers. Philadelphia has been able to keep games close this year and I could see Rondo playing 35 minutes and achieve 50 FP for us tonight.

Reggie Jackson- Jackson is coming off of his worst game of the season last night against Utah. He only scored 10 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, and 21.25 FP. People might be off of him today but I like him tonight in Denver. I think he will blow past his 35.61 FP average and go around 45 FP for our team tonight.

Lance Stephenson- I’m all about that “revenge” factor when it comes to players playing their former teams. Stephenson gets to face an injured Indiana squad and Charlotte is dealing with it’s own injuries as of late. The Hornets have been blown out against Dallas by 27 points, and The Warriors by 25 points in their previous two games. I’m looking for Charlotte to play their hearts out and Stephenson to lead the way.

Blake Griffin- I love Griffin tonight against the Magic in Orlando. He’s averaging 36.44 FP and I could see him easily blowing past that tonight for a double double. In his last 3 games he’s averaged 35 minutes, 20 points, and 37 FP. I’m looking for him to lead the Clippers in scoring tonight.

Gorgui Dieng- He’s our “value play of the night.” Pekovic is out tonight and Dieng will slide into the Center position. I think he will be the highest-rostered Center tonight so people can afford some bigger names.

Suggested Plays for 11/18/14:

Paul Millsap- Millsap is averaging 34.61 FPPG this season and he’s primed for a big game tonight against the Lakers. Last game against the Cavs, Millsap played 28 minutes, 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 33.75 FP. I think Millsap will go 35 minutes tonight scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 42 FP.

Jeff Teague- Teague is another Hawk’s player that will be in our lineups tonight. With a short-slate, there’s not much variance to the games. Teague is coming off a bad game against Cleveland while playing 26 minutes, only scoring 5 points, and a horrific 10 FP. I think people will be turned off by that game and I’m looking for 30+ FP and a nice value tonight.

Kyle Korver- Korver had a miserable game Saturday night against Cleveland. He only played 14 minutes, scoring 0 points and had 1.5 FP. I’m definitely looking for a monster comeback game tonight. I’m looking for Korver to play right around his season average of 35 minutes, and go for at least 35 FP against these horrible Lakers.

Reggie Jackson- Jackson is averaging 27.2 FP this season and even when the Rockets/Thunder game didn’t have much firepower on Sunday, Jackson got his own. In that game, Jackson played 37 minutes, scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and ended the night with 32.75 FP. His last 5 games he’s scored the following Fantasy Points: 32.75, 41, 44.75, 43, 30.5 FPs. I’m looking for Jackson to play his best game of the season tonight and dominate for 40+ FP.

Anthony Davis- On a short night like tonight, you have to have some studs in your lineup. The Brow is averaging 54.3 FP and coming off a monster game against Portland. Davis  played 38 minutes, scored 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 61.25 FP. I’m looking for this game against the Kings to be competitive and Davis to get another 60 FP tonight.

NFL- Fantasy Football Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups

Each week there are players who get hurt, under-perform, or simply don’t live up to the hype. With those players, comes players from out of the woodwork to take their spots. This is a list of players for you to snag up on the Waiver Wire for your year-long fantasy teams.

RB- Jonas Gray (Patriots)- Jonas Gray is the Patriots third-string RB but he’s been playing like a franchise player. He absolutely dominated the Colt’s defense and put himself on the map to undoubtedly be the #1 waiver wire pickup this week. If you need depth for the playoffs, you need Jonas Gray.

Week 11 Stats: 38 carries, 199 yards, 4 TDs

TE- Coby Fleener (Colts)- Fleener is a must-add if you’re looking for TE depth. Dwayne Allen went down yesterday with a high-ankle sprain which could range in severity for someone who depends on their legs. It’s the same injury that only held Jamaal Charles out for only one game, so it’s a wait and see for the Allen owners out there.

Week 11 Stats: 7 receptions, 144 yards

DEF- Green Bay- The Packers have been dominating the past two games against the Bears and Eagles respectively. They have a pretty favorable schedule against the Vikings, Falcons, Bills, Bucs, Lions, and a week 13 matchup against New England but it’s at Lambeau. They should be the most-added defense this week as they face the hopeless Vikings.

Week 11 Stats: 3 sacks, 2 INTs, 2 Fumble Recoveries, 2 TDs

RB- Tre Mason (Rams)- Well, last I knew, Mason was a wide receiver but if last week was any indication, he has been converted into a RB. He dominated the Bronco’s defense  and it would appear that Zac Stacy is 100% out in St. Louis. Look for Mason to have his way this week again in San Diego.

Week 11 Stats: 29 carries, 113 yards
