Suggested Plays For NFL Week 3:

QB- Drew Brees- Drew Brees, at home, against the Vikings, enough said. If that’s not enough for you, how about this: Drew Brees, at home, Vs. the Vikings, with an 0-2 record after an ugly game last week. Sign me up. There’s no way I can see Brees losing at home and going 0-3 to start the season. Especially after the Vikings had 4+ turnovers last week. I’m predicting Brees to be the #1 owned QB in the cash-games and predicting him to be the #1 QB for NFL Week 3.

QB- Kirk Cousins- Cousins makes a very good GPP play this week as RG3 is out. Cousins outplayed RG3 in every aspect of the preseason and could very well play himself into a full-time starting gig even after RG3 is healthy. An added bonus would be if DeSean Jackson is cleared to play this week. The Redskins will be going up against the high-flying 2-0 Eagles and I can see Cousins having to throw a ton to try and keep up. Very solid GPP target for me this week.

Other QBs I like: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco (GPP), Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford

RB- Donald Brown- With Ryan Mathews out for an extended period of time, I definitely love Donald Brown to step in for the immediate future.  A player with his caliber (who would be a starter in most other teams offenses), at only $6,200 on Fanduel? Sign me up.

RB- Knile Davis- This one is for you to watch all week. If Jamaal Charles is unable to go with a high ankle sprain, Knile Davis is a steal at $7,000. He could easily be a RB1 on a majority of teams, and with his upside (2 TDs last week) we could afford a top -tier team.

Other RB I Like: Lamar Miller, Stevan Ridley, Khiry Robinson, Darren Sproles

WR- Andrew Hawkins- He’s only $5,300 on Fanduel and will be most likely playing from behind on Sunday against the Ravens. Another plus to his profile would be the 22 targets in the first two games. He has caught 14 of 22 targets for 157 yards. Look for him to have a great game and allow us to get Drew Brees as our QB.

WR- James Jones- He’s clearly the WR1 on an awful Raider’s offense and has 12 receptions with 146 yards and 2 TDs on the season so far. Look for them to once again be down a ton and pass the ball off to Jones all afternoon.

Other WR I Like: Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, Jeremy Maclin, T.Y. Hilton, Sammy Watkins

TE- Niles Paul- He’s only $5,000 on Fanduel and I think he’ll be very under-owned this week. Since Jordan Reed went down with an injury, he’s stepped in and produced. Week 1 he went 4 receptions for 86 yards, and last week with Cousins he went, 8 receptions for 99 yards and 1 TD. I’m looking for Cousins to connect with Paul for 100+ yards and another TD this week against the Eagles.

Other TE I Like: Zach Ertz, Jimmy Graham

Flop of the Week: Chicago Bears

MVP of Week 3: Matthew Stafford

NFL Week 3 Injury Report

Breaking down NFL Week 3 Injured players

Fantasy Football is popular among millions of people around the world, and they wait each week to play. Along with the big names come big injuries. No matter how good your draft is, you’re bound to take injury blows to even the biggest of stars. Here is the breakdown of injured players to watch for Week 3 of the NFL Season.

Website: fantasysportsadvice.sportsblog.com

1. Knowshon Moreno- After a stellar first week with 134 yards, Moreno went down hard after 1 rushing attempt. Results came back that he has a dislocated elbow and could miss anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. It’s a HUGe blow to anyone who drafted him early this season. Pending results, Moreno could have suffered a fracture as well. This leaves Lamar Miller to be the RB1 and should be added if you were a Moreno owner.

2. DeSean Jackson- He left Sunday’s game after landing hard on his shoulder. He’s been diagnosed with a sprained A/C Joint and is listed as day to day. He’s dealt with this before but check back Friday to see his report after this week’s practices.

3. RG3- He left Sunday’s contest early with a dislocated ankle. The Redskins are hoping he only misses 4-5 weeks and in the meantime, Kirk Cousins takes over. The former Michigan State Spartan simply outplayed RG3 in the preseason and could potentially take over if he does well during Griffin’s absence.

4. A.J. Green- Green left Week 2’s game with an ankle/foot injury and never returned. If this is a turf toe injury, he could be out a while and definitely hurts Dalton’s fantasy value as well as his own. With the Bengals having a bye week in week 4, I don’t see them playing Green until Week 5.

5. Ryan Mathews- Mathews suffered a right MCL sprain and could be out up to 4 weeks. Expect Donald Brown to take his spot, but it also bumps up Danny Woodhead’s value as well.

6. Allen Hurns- Hurns was seen leaving the stadium yesterday on crutches. He appeared to twist his ankle and it’s unknown of the severity at the time of this article. It’s not looking good for Week 3 for Hurns owners.

7. Carson Palmer- Palmer was diagnosed with a nerve issue in his throwing arm and admitted that he wasn’t sure when he would be able to return to action. Don’t expect it to be anytime soon.

NFL Week 3 Waiver Wire Targets

Knile Davis could be thrown into the spotlight in Week 3

Each week there are players who get hurt, under-perform, or simply don’t live up to the hype. With those players, comes players from out of the woodwork to take their spots. This is a list of players for you to snag up on the Waiver Wire for your year-long fantasy team.

Blog: fantasysportsadvice.sportsblog.com

  1. RB- Knile Davis (Chiefs)- Jamaal Charles was knocked out of the game with a sprained ankle and Davis came in and had a great game. It’s unknown how severe Charle’s ankle injury is and of of now, Davis is the #1 Waiver pickup this week.

Week 2 Stats: 22 carries, 78 yards, 2 TDs, 6 catches, 26 yards

  1. RB- Bobby Rainey (Buccaneers)- Rainey was starting in place of Doug Martin (knee) and completely dominated. He was a bell-cow back in Week 2. He’s the 2nd most added player this week and could see extended time if Martin needs more than just this week of rest.

Week 2 Stats: 22 carries, 144 yards

  1. QB- Kirk Cousins (Redskins)- RG3 went down early with a serious ankle injury (dislocated ankle) and is expected to miss 4-5 weeks. Cousins came in and had a terrific Sunday. He completed 22 of 33 passes for 250 yards and 2 TDs. We could potentially see Cousins for more than the predicted 5 weeks.  He’s a must-add if you had RG3 or struggling at QB.

Week 2 Stats: 22 of 33 passes, 250 yards, 2 TDs

  1. WR- James Jones (Raiders)- He’s had back to back weeks with TDs and looks to be the #1 receiver in an awful offense. He’s got a week 3 matchup against NE that should see the Patriots up early and James should be thrown to a ton and often this next week.

Week 2 Stats: 9 receptions, 112 yards, 1 TD

  1. WR- Mohamed Sanu (Bengals)- With A.J. Green going down early, Sanu stepped it up. He caught 3 of  passes for 84 yards and a TD. He set a career goal with a 76 yard reception He also threw a 50+ yard pass on a trick play. If you’re hurting at WR3 or FLEX, Sanu could fill that gap as A.J. Green looks doubtful for Week 3.

Week 2 Stats: 3 receptions, 84 yards, 1 TD

  1. RB- Donald Brown (Chargers)- He didn’t have much work in the game this week, but with Ryan Mathews out for a few weeks, we could see Brown overtake Woodhead in touches moving forward. Check back during the week to see his value for Week 3 and beyond.

NFL Week 2 Waiver Wire Targets

Kelvin Benjamin looks to add onto his out stellar week 1 performance.

Welcome to the first edition of Waiver Wire Wednesday. Each week there are players who get hurt, under-perform, or simply don’t live up to the hype. With those players, come players from out of the woodwork to take their spots. This is a list of players for you to snag up on the Waiver Wire for your year-long fantasy team.

Blog: fantasysportsadvice.sportsblog.com

1. WR- Kelvin Benjamin (Carolina Panthers)- Benjamin was thought to be a breakout rookie this year, and if Week 1 was any indication, they could be onto something. Just think what Cam Newton could do for Benjamin’s stock.

Week 1 Stats:  6 Catches, 91 yards

2. QB- Jake Locker (Tennessee Titans)- He was a QB2 on deep leagues but his Week 1 performance against the mighty Chiefs defense might turn him into a QB1 on some teams. He’s facing the awful Dallas defense and should be in store for another great game Week 2.

Week 1 Stats:  21/34, 254 yards, 2 TDs

3. WR- Brandin Cooks (New Orleans Saints)- He was touted as a WR to look out for this season and he showed why in Week 1. He’s only going to get better as the season progresses.

Week 1 Stats: 7 catches, 77 yards, 1 TDs

4. RB- Justin Forsett (Baltimore Ravens)- Who would have thought this? With Rice out the first two games, it was supposed to be Bernard Pierce’s team, but after his first career fumble (FIRST!), Pierce was benched and in stepped Forsett. Now with Rice off the team for good, Forsett looks to be RB1.

Week 1 Stats: 11 rushes, 70 yards, 1 TD

5. Houston D/ST- With the loss of Clowney for 4-6 weeks, it might scare away people. People were already leery of this defense but they have one of the easiest schedules through Week 3. Look for them to have another good game week 2 against Oakland.

Week 1 Stats: 3 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 TD

6. WR- Allen Hurns (Jacksonville Jaguars)- He was in the game this much Week 1 because Cecil Shorts was out with a hamstring injury. When Shorts gets back, Hurns could give Marqise Lee a run for his money for WR2.

Week 1 Stats: 4 catches, 110 yards, 2 TDs

7. WR- Steve Smith Sr. (Baltimore Ravens)- He’s only 42% owned on Yahoo but had a big game Week 1. Look for him to continue to be a WR1 in a bad offensive team.

Week 1 Stats:  7 catches, 118 yards, 1 TD

8. WR- Malcolm Floyd (San Diego Chargers)- Keenan Allen was thought to be the #1 target on MNF but that wasn’t the case. Floyd saw the better half of Rivers’ passes and is now a viable WR2.

Week 1 Stats: 4 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD

Fanduel NFL Week 2 Daily Fantasy Advice

Matthew Stafford should have another Dominating Performance again this week!

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 2:

QB- Matt Stafford- Did you see what he did on MNF to the Giants? 22 for 32, 346 yards, 2 TDs. His early scores were to, who else, but Megatron. Stafford as the addition of Golden Tate (He will have a bounceback year I predict, watch!), and a very impressive RB duo. People might be scared of him against the Panthers defense, but I could see another repeat performance and have him in the Top-5 QB performances this week. He makes an excellent GPP play for me.

QB- Jake Locker- Surprising performance for Week 1 for some, but I knew the kind of talent Locker had coming into this season. He went 22 for 33 with 266 yards and 2 TDs. He gets a matchup against the Cowboys and I’m looking for him to pick apart the defense this week.

Other QBs I Like: Andrew Luck, Carson Palmer, Drew Brees

RB- Matt Forte- PPR beast right here. He’s facing the 49ers defense who aren’t as good as last year and they were just man-handled on the ground game last week against Dallas, although the score wouldn’t reflect that at all (Thanks Tony Romo). I think Forte ends NFL Week 2 with the top overall performance for all RBs.

Other RBs I Like: Arian Foster, Le’Veon Bell, Zac Stacy

WR- Reggie Wayne- If his 13 targets are any indication that Andrew Luck has faith in him, I’m looking for him to have a great game against the Eagles who were dominated for ¾ of the game against the Jags. I’m looking for Wayne to absolutely shine on MNF in which the game is supposed to be the most high-scoring affair this week.

Other WRs I Like: Kelvin Benjamin, Golden Tate, A.J. Green, Justin Hunter

TEAMS TO STACK:

Colts vs. Eagles: Andrew Luck, Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton

Titans vs. Cowboys: Jake Locker, Justin Hunter, Delanie Walker

Flop of the Week: Minnesota Vikings

Sleeper MVP: Andy Dalton

Top-15 NFL Week 1 Fantasy Performers

Optional...

Have you ever wanted to win tons of money playing a silly little game? Have you been playing year-long fantasy football only to give up on it halfway through the season because your team has let you down? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, you’ve found the right place to help yourself start winning money.

Well, NFL Week 1 is almost in the books (besides the two games tonight) and we have learned a lot about some of these players. The Biggest Player was Matt (Matty Ice) Ryan and him going off! I hope you took my advice in my Week 1 article and rostered that beast.

What I’m going to do here is break down the Top-15 NFL Week 1 Fantasy Leaders and players to possibly use in the upcoming weeks!

Be sure to check out my NFL Week 1 advice to see how it stacked up with the results: http://sb.gg/1tmlF23

*According to ESPN Fantasy Statistics, not including tonight’s 2 MNF Games*

1. Matt Ryan: 448 yards, 3 TDs, 30 FP

I told you guys I was predicting him to be a Top-5 QB this week, he went above and beyond and, barring a miracle in the games tonight, he will be the Top Overall QB for week 1.

2. Julius Thomas: 7 receptions, 104 yards, 3 TDs, 28 FP

With so many targets in Denver, you just never knew who was going to take the lead. Well, Julius ended the first half with 3 TDs and looks to be a viable Top-5 TE this season, if not Top overall.

3. Andrew Luck: 370 yards, 2 TDS, 2 INTs, 25 FP

Luck was just outdueled by Peyton who now has beaten all 32 teams. Luck was taken late in many drafts, but I’m looking for a Top-5 Finish for him after the seasons end.

4. Marshawn Lynch: 20 rushes, 110 yards, 2 TD, 24 FP

The skittles man dominated the GB defense on Thursday night and he was written off as being too old by many analysts. Look for him to be dominate this year as the Seattle offense looks to dominate all year.

5. Le’Veon Bell: 21 rushes, 109 yards, 1 TD, 24 FP

Public Service Announcement: Smoking Weed makes you a beast RB in the NFL apparently.  Just like Lynch’s skittles, the whole legal situation with Bell shows that nothing was on his mind other than Football. Look for him to have another breakout year.

6. Allen Hurns: 4 receptions, 110  yards, 2 TDs, 23 FP

Well well well, my previous post had Hurns as a sneaky stash option for year long fantasy leagues, and it came to be the first week. With Cecil Shorts being injured, Hurns was forced into action and he dominated. Look for Hurns to keep a starting spot if he keeps putting up these great numbers.

7. Peyton Manning: 269 yards, 3 TDs, 22 FP

It wasn’t like his first game last  year where he dominated the Ravens, but it looks like Manning has revenge on his mind after that Superbowl defeat and it could be another record-breaking year for Manning and the Broncos.

8. Texans D/ST: 1 TD, 20 FP

This is the exact reason why I drafted the Texans in my own year long leagues. I’m expecting the Texans to be the top defense for the first 3 weeks as they have a pretty easy schedule.

9. Knowshon Moreno: 24 rushes, 134 yards, 1 TD, 19 FP

I completely wrote off Moreno as he was coming off surgery and moving to Miami with Lamar Miller, but he completely dominated the Patriots D. Look for him to have a break-out year.

10. Jake Locker: 266 yards, 2 TDs, 19 FP

The mighty Titans took down the power-house Kansas City Chiefs yesterday and Jake Locker still doesn’t have the respect he deserves. I’m looking for him to have a great year and is a viable option for QB2 on year-long leagues and a viable option for GPPs on Daily Fantasy Sites like Fanduel.

11. A.J. Green: 6 catches, 131 yards, 1 TD, 19 FP

We knew what A.J. would bring to the table, and he’s drafted high up because of his production. Nothing new to report here.

12. Vikings D/ST: 1 TD, 19 FP

I did not see this coming. The Rams obviously were very outplayed with a QB they were not expecting to see the field this year, but the Vikings D will most likely be added by a ton of people which could come back to bite them in the end.

13. Matt Bryant: 18 FP

Anytime a kicker can make the top-15 you know it was a very weird week. Nonetheless, with Matt Ryan’s big game, you know the kicker will be involved a ton for XP as well.

14. Derek Anderson: 230 yards, 2 TDs, 18 FP

As Cam Newton was a game-time decision Derek Anderson really stepped his game up and showed what he could do. I wouldn’t be surprised that if Newton is hurt for an extended period, and Anderson continues to dominate in his absence, he could be a starting QB this time next year.

15. Mark Ingram: 13 carries, 60 yards, 2 TD, 18 FP

Coming in this season, I had a good feeling Ingram would show the kind of player he was during his collegiate career. I think he’ll be a force to be reckoned with since Sproles is no longer in the backfield for the Saints.

RB- Andre Ellington (Arizona Cardinals)- He reaggravated a foot injury this week in practice and is listed as "OUT" for week 1. Multiple reports out of Arizona suggest Ellington's absense could be "extended" with beat reporter Mike Jurecki most recently suggesting the injury might be a 4-6 week ordeal.--- According to Rotoworld.com

WR- Keenan Allen (San Diego Chargers)- Currently listed as probable after a rib injury. Allen has practiced fully for 2 days and is expected to play this week.

TE- Rob Gronkowski (New England Patriots)- He's currently listed as Questionable but he told reporters that he will be playing Week 1. Be aware that if he's playing, he will most likely be in a limited snap count role. That could hinder fantasy production if he doesn't get at least 1 TD catch.

WR- Michael Crabtree (San Francisco 49ers)- He's been bothered by a calf injury, but he practiced Thursday and Friday and he's got an amazing matchup against a horrible Dallas Defense. He should be good to go Sunday and have a terrific game.

QB- Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers)- Currently listed as Questionable, coach Rivera said he looked "pretty good" Friday and with 2 big games against TB (although look good on D right now) he should have a good game this week.

WR- Terrance Williams (Dallas Cowboys)- TW missed practice Thursday due to a minor bruise and should be good to go for a game that the Cowboys should be down often and early and throwing the ball a ton. If Dez Bryant is double covered, look for Williams to have a field day.

RB- Ray Rice (Baltimore Ravens)- Currently serving a two game suspension, Rice will be out until Week 3 against the Browns in Cleveland.

RB- Bernard Pierce (Baltimore Ravens)- He is filling in for Ray Rice for the first 2 weeks. Pierce is listed as probable after passing concussion tests on his concussion he suffered in the preseason.

WR- Wes Welker (Denver Broncos)- Out with a concussion and a 4 game suspension for PED use, he won't see the field. A new report is out that there are talks between the NFL and NFLPA to change their drug policy which could possibly lift the ban against Welker and Josh Gordon. Just don't expect them to play this week at all.

Suggested Plays For NFL Week 1:

QB- Matt Ryan- He's coming off a very mediocre year due to two huge reasons. Julio Jones was out with an injury and Roddy White was playing hurt for the majority of the season. Top that with a shoddy running game, Ryan saw a huge decrease in production. With both of his star WRs back, and a promising RB2 in Devonta Freeman, look for Ryan to dominate the Saints secondary and be in the Top-5 of QB performances in Week 1.

QB- Colin Kaepernick- They seem to have gotten off to a very slow start in the preseason but the 49ers are facing what is tabbed as one of the worst defenses in the league to start the year in the Dallas Cowboys. I look for Kaep to have a great first week both throwing the ball and running it himself. He has so many options in the passing game, he's bound to throw a few TDs Sunday. His price on Fanduel is just too low to pass up.

Other QB I Like: Jay Cutler, Matt Stafford, Nick Foles

RB- LeSean McCoy- As if I need to post why he's a good starter. with Fanduel being .5 PPR and McCoy's ability to be a pass-catching RB, look for McCoy to run all over the Jaguar's defense sunday. He's going to cost you $9,400 but he's well worth it this week.

WR- Roddy White/Julio Jones- This combo has been deadly in the past and now that both are back and healthy, it should be another playoff-contending year for the Falcons. With Julio Jones being in double coverage most of the game, expect the less expensive (on Fanduel) White to see a ton of more targets and really be a value play this week. Pair him up with Ryan and you've got yourself a great handcuff.

WR- Terrance Williams- Going up against the 49ers Defense might seem like a daunting task, but with the workhorse WR known as Dez Bryant, that leaves Terrance Williams. He had a breakout season last year, and I believe the Cowboys will be playing from behind the entire game which means Romo will be throwing the ball a ton and that leaves a great chance for Williams to have a great game. His price is a value play for us week 1.

Suggested Plays 9/1/14:

P- David Price $10,900- He's our most expensive pitcher for this lovely Labor Day, but he should be having a great matchup against the Indians. Cleveland is coming off a suspended game last night and now play an early afternoon game which should show some fatigue. Price is coming off one of his worst starts of his career and looks to bounce back today. He's a pretty good/safe play for Cash-Games today.

P- Julio Teheran $8,700- He gets to face a depleted Phillies team that have been struggling as of late. The team is also only batting .200 against him with 4 home runs and 22 strike outs. Julio is the clear-cut favorite at his price and he's predicted to go 7 innings, with 7 strikeouts and 2 ERs. Look for him to pick up the win and not be very highly owned this afternoon.

Other P I Like: Zack Wheeler- $7,700, Cole Hamels- $9,500

C- Buster Posey $4,400- He's been tearing it up lately and that's why his price has skyrocketed. Over his last 10 games, he's averaged 5.9 FP, and has 5 HRs, 13 RBIs, and gets to play at Coors against a horrible lefty. I'm predicting at least 1 BOMBpop from Posey and another 10+ FP game this afternoon.

Other C I Like: Salvador Perez- $2,800, Wilson Ramos- $2,900

1B- Justin Morneau $3,300- Tim Hudson has been good, but I just don't trust him pitching at Coors today. Morneau has been a great hitter at home and a lefty/righty matchup should so wonders for him today. He's a great GPP option in games such as the Squeeze for Fanduel and I predict a BOMBpop from Morneau, along with a Rockies scoring frenzy today.

Other 1B I Like: Lucas Duda- $3,400,Adam LaRoche- $3,300

2B- Robinson Cano $3,400- Over his last 10 games, Robbie has only 1 game with negative FPs. He mashing right handed pitchers this season and he's facing Jason Hammel who has been just awful since being traded from the Cubs to the A's. The A's are also on a downward spiral and I'm seeing Cano being the leading 2B today and adding to our BOMBpop total.

Other 2B I Like: Ben Zobrist- $3,400

OFs To Target:

Yoenis Cespedes

Bryce Harper

Carlos Gomez

Hunter Pence
