Yesterday's Results - Cash
Yesterday's Results - GPP
Yesterday's Results - GPP
Zack Greinke $10,000 - Greinke won't remain in the elite options if he continues to pitch like he has so far in 2016. Unfortunately, for him, he faces a Rockies lineup that absolutely lit him up in the first game of the season to the tune of 7 runs on 9 hits in just 4 innings. Greinke's ERA is a bit deceiving as his walk rate is still right around 4% and his 3.94 SIERA. However, we have to take a wait and see approach and, at this point, he may be a GPP only play.
Francisco Liriano $9,300 - Liriano is walking hitters at a ridiculous 17.2% in 2016. His strikeout rate is high so feel free to deploy him in GPPs a high-risk, high-reward option.
Ross Stripling $7,900 - Stripling may be a bit overrated based on his production to this point but he has an excellent matchup tonight against the Padres, one of the worst hitting teams in baseball.
Wellington Castillo $3,500 - Castillo has really hit the ball well over the last 2 weeks collecting multi-hit games in 4 of the last 6 games including 4 homeruns over that span. He feasts on left-handed pitching and squares off against the Rockies' lefty, Chris Rusin
Salvador Perez $3,300
Brian McCann $3,100 - McCann's cooled off after his scoring hot start. However, a plus matchup with Rick Porcello and the rival Red Sox may be just what he needs to get it fired back up.
Yasmani Grandal $2,900 - After 3 straight dud starts, Grandal finally rewarded last night with a 2-4 night with his first home run of the year.
Dioner Navarro $2,700
JT Realmuto $2,600 - Realmuto is getting hot is our value catcher option tonight. He's hit safely in 5 straight games including 3 multi-hit games and 2 home runs in that span.
Paul Goldschmidt $4,500
Chris Davis $4,100 - The Orioles hitters came to life last night. Unfortunately, Davis missed the party going 1-4. Davis possess elite power and crushes righty's. On the hill tonight, Chicago's RHP, Matt Latos. Start Davis with confidence.
David Ortiz $3,600
Adrian Gonzalez $3,000 - Good news, bad news: Good - Gonzalez's price is ridiculously low. Bad - He's failed to get a hit 13 at bats. The law of averages is in play here. We're buying low on Gonzalez and running with him tonight.
Prince Fielder $2,900 - Fielder, Like Gonzalez, is far too good of a hitter to be this cheap for long. He's starting to fire it back up hitting safely in 3 of the last 4 games. He's got a plus matchup tonight against the Angels. Get him in your lineups.
Adam Lind $2,300
Robinson Cano $3,900 - Cano is rolling right now with 2 multi-hit games in the last 3. He's hit 2 homeruns over that span and remains one of the best hitting 2nd basemen in baseball.
Rougned Odor $3,600
Brandon Phillips $2,600 - After fouling 2 balls of the same foot, then taking a 95 mph fastball to the finger in the SAME AT BAT, Phillips has bounced back and played well. He's a solid source of hits, runs and stolen bases and provides great value on the base paths.
Chris Owings $2,200 - Owings is in our lineups tonight as a solid value option against the Rockies. Owings has hits safely in 7 of the last 10 games including 4 multi-hit games over that span. He plays in a hitter-friendly ballpark in Arizona and is surrounded in the lineup by some of the best hitters in baseball.
Nolan Arenado $4,700 - Load up on Rockies and D'Backs hitters tonight. They have the 2nd highest run total on the board, to struggling pitchers and a hitters ballpark should mean a high volume of offense from both sides.
Manny Machado $4,300 - Machado blasted a grand slam, his first of the year, 2 nights ago at home. He followed that up with a 2-4 night with a double. He remains one of the best hitting 3rd basemen in baseball and can be safely deployed in all formats tonight.
Travis Shaw $3,100
Brandon Drury $2,700 - If your looking of exposure to the D'Backs/Rockies tonight but don't want to spend up for Arenado, look no further that Drury. He's been mashing lately generating 6 multi-hit games over the last 10. He can hit for power and average and has crushed 2 home runs in the last 3 games.
Derek Dietrich $2,100
Cory Seager $4,000
Trevor Story $4,000 - The at-bats have been limited, obviously, but Story has owned Grienke this season to the tune of 2-3 with 2 homeruns. Story has slowed down from his incredible start but can still blast the baseball. Greinke has been awful. Expect big things from the Rockies tonight.
Zack Cozart $3,400
Ketel Marte $2,900 - With 6 hits in the last 13 plate appearances, Marte is rolling. Get him in your lineups as a solid value option tonight.
Andrelton Simmons $2,400
Mike Trout $4,900 - Trout is getting hot. After a ridiculously slow start, he's on a 9 game hit streak that's seen him hit 4 homers, 2 doubles, 9 RBI and 6 runs.
Giancarlo Stanton $4,800 - Stanton is one of the best hitters in baseball. He can crush left and right-handed pitching, creating problems in any matchup. He's hit 7 home runs, 4 in the last 5 games, and 18 RBI on season.
Andrew McCutchen $4,300
Gregory Polanco $3,600
Brett Gardner $2,900 - Gardner has a plus matchup tonight Rick Porcello and the Red Sox. Gardner has historically hit Porcello well as he's collected 7 hits on 23 at bats.
Seth Smith $2,900
Carlos Beltran $2,800 - Beltran, like Gardner, has hit Porcello very well over his career to the tune of 8-19, a .421 average. Stack the Yanks with confidence today with a plus matchup in Boston.
